Morgan Cross became Huntingdon's second head women's lacrosse coach in September 2013.
During her first season as head coach, Huntingdon put together a four-game winning streak, won seven games and qualified for the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament in its first season in the conference. Cross' first team also produced one second-team All-Conference selection and seven Academic All-Conference performers.
Before being named head coach, Cross was the assistant coach for the Lady Hawks' first season and played a vital role in Huntingdon's development and success. The Lady Hawks opened the season with two straight wins and finished with a record of 8-6. Of the six losses, two were by four goals or less.
A native of Maryland and a four-year player for Belmont Abbey College, Cross coached at the high school and club level before joining the Huntingdon staff. Cross earned her B.A. in educational studies at Belmont Abbey.
