Huntingdon weekend athletic schedule changes with weather

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Saturday's home baseball games have been canceled, the softball schedule has been modified in Atlanta and the home tennis matches are still being evaluated due to the rain.

Baseball was scheduled to host Birmingham-Southern in a doubleheader today, beginning at 1 p.m., and travel to Birmingham on Sunday for a single game. The new schedule calls for a doubleheader at Birmingham-Southern on Sunday. Game 1 is set for 1 p.m.

Softball was scheduled to play Emory and Transylvania today and on Sunday at Emory. Today's game with Transylvania has been canceled and the game with Emory was moved to noon. The two games for Sunday are still scheduled for their original times. Huntingdon will play Transylvania at 9 a.m. and Emory at 1 p.m.

The Huntingdon men's and women's tennis teams have already delayed their home matches with Piedmont today until 3 p.m. As of noon Saturday, the tennis teams were still trying to determine if they would be able to play today.

Both tennis teams are still scheduled to host Maryville on Sunday.

The women's track and field team is in action today in Jacksonville, Fla. The Lady Hawks are finishing the second day of competition in the University of North Florida Invitational.
