Huntingdon can’t find an answer for Scots

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team lost to Covenant College 85-55 on Saturday.

Covenant jumped out to a 10-2 lead and entered halftime leading 37-25.

The Hawks (8-15, 1-11 USA South) came out of halftime slow and found themselves down by 20 points with 13:18 left in the game. The Scots (14-9, 9-4 USA South) outscored the Hawks 48-30 in the second half.

Senior Dantavius Washington scored 10 points and pulled down five rebounds on senior night. Andre Ashley scored 10 points and recorded four rebounds.

Huntingdon will host LaGrange on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
