MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon College athletic department will enter the new school year with several new faces.
Eight assistant coaches in five sports have joined the Hawks’ coaching staff since the spring. Football added four new assistant coaches while men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s basketball each added one new assistant coach.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A total of 119 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Friday.
The student-athletes, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,441 USA South student-athletes named to the team.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College President J. Cameron West recently announced the promotion of Eric Levanda to Director of Athletics.
Levanda has spent more than a decade as Huntingdon’s Associate Director of Athletics and Director of Operations.

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Huntingdon men’s basketball team battled the No. 1 seed in the West Division to the final seconds on Tuesday night but fell to Covenant 67-66 in the first round of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men’s basketball team rallied from a 17-point deficit in the final 10 minutes but couldn’t complete the comeback in an 84-80 loss to LaGrange College on Wednesday night.

The win was the Hawks’ seventh in the past nine games.
BREVARD, N.C. – The Huntingdon men’s basketball team pulled away in the second half and cruised by Brevard College 87-64 on Wednesday.
The Hawks used a 32-4 run during a span of less than nine minutes in the second half to put the game away and earn their fifth win in the past six games. The 23-point win is the largest margin of victory for the Hawks since a 28-point win over Millsaps in Nov. 2010.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Freshman B.J. Barker sank two free throws in the final seconds to lead the Huntingdon men’s basketball team past Alvernia 68-67 on Friday in the first round of the Christopher Newport Christmas Tournament.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men’s basketball team put Birmingham-Southern away in the second half on Thursday to earn a 70-55 win in the Hawks’ home opener.
The win was Huntingdon’s second of the season against the Panthers and the fourth in the last five games against Birmingham-Southern.
FLORENCE, Ala. – The Huntingdon men’s basketball team matched the University of North Alabama for a half on Thursday before the Division I Lions pulled away in the second half and beat the Hawks 90-58.
