  • Division III Week Student Spotlight – Juliette Harp

    This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the seventh-year event. Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes. As part of Huntingdon College's participation in Division III Week, five student-athletes will be featured this week. Huntingdon senior Juliette Harp is today's featured student-athlete.
  • Harp named second-team All-Region

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Senior Juliette Harp added another accolade this week for the final season of her Huntingdon career. Harp was named second-team All-South Region with the release of the D3hoops.com All-Region teams on Tuesday.

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon senior Juliette Harp was named first-team All-Conference by the USA South Athletic Conference with the release of the women’s basketball awards on Thursday. This is the third straight season Harp has received All-Conference recognition and the second straight season she has been named first-team All-Conference and first-team All-West Division.

    DEMOREST, Ga. – Senior Juliette Harp set another career mark for the Huntingdon women’s basketball team in a 64-59 loss to Piedmont on Saturday. Harp pulled down 13 rebounds in the loss to record her 869th career rebound in 80 games. Tan Munford held the Lady Hawks’ previous NCAA-era record with 868 in 104 games. Harp’s career 10.9 rebounds per game ranks first for Huntingdon during the NCAA era.

  • Harp named USA South Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon senior Juliette Harp was selected as one of the USA South Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week on Monday.                         In the first weekly awards for basketball season, Harp was named the Player of the Week for women’s basketball. In three wins to open the season, Harp averaged 15.3 points per game and 15.3 rebounds per game and totaled eight blocks and three assists.
