WALESKA, Ga. – The Huntingdon wrestling team opened the season with a 47-3 loss to Reinhardt University on Sunday. The Eagles are the 16th-ranked team in NAIA and feature six nationally ranked wrestlers.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – More than 130 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Monday.
A total of 139 Hawks, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,446 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the seventh-year event.
Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Huntingdon wrestling team turned in its best performance yet in the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
Competing in the Lower Midwest Regional, formerly known as the Central Region, the fourth-year Hawks won 11 matches, scored 22 points and finished 13th in the field of 17 teams.

CLEVELAND, Ga. – The Huntingdon wrestling team won two matches over NAIA opponents on Saturday at Truett-McConnell University.
The Hawks took down West Virginia University Institute of Technology 28-21 and beat Truett-McConnell 45-8. This was the first win in five meetings with Truett-McConnell. This was the first meeting with West Virginia University Tech.
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Huntingdon wrestling team won seven of the final eight weight classes and knocked off Allen University 30-12 on Saturday.
The win was the fourth-year Hawks’ third straight over the NAIA Yellow Jackets.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon wrestling team opened 2018 with three dual matches at Roland Arena on Saturday.
The Hawks came up short against Division III Greensboro College 23-17 before falling to a pair of nationally ranked NAIA teams. Huntingdon lost to Reinhardt University 35-9 and Southeastern University 31-9. Reinhardt is ranked 16th in one NAIA poll and Southeastern is ranked in the top-9 in two NAIA polls.
