FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon sophomore Juliette Harp was recognized by the USA South Athletic Conference on Wednesday with the release of the All-Conference basketball teams.

Harp, a second-team selection, averaged a double-double this season with 14.5 points per game and a conference-best 12 rebounds per game. She also led the conference with 2.8 blocks per game.

Harp's 59 blocks this season set Huntingdon's NCAA-era single-season blocks record. Harp broke the record at home in a 67-49 win over William Peace in early February. The previous record of 45 was held by Dusti Doss.

In its third season in the USA South, Huntingdon finished with a 10-12 record overall and was 4-10 in conference play.

Senior Savannah Ward was named to the women's All-Sportsmanship team. On the men's side, sophomore Wyatt Popovich was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.

Maryville's Mackenzie Puckett was named player of the year while Covenant's Joanna Smith was named Rookie of the Year. Maryville's Darrin Travillian was named Coach of the Year.
