Hawks Take Down LaGrange Before Falling Mobile

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Welcoming a plethora of squads to the Alice Reynolds Beach Courts for a mid-week tournament, Huntingdon Beach Volleyball opened up the day with a major 3-2 win over LaGrange before falling 5-0 to the University of Mobile. With today's split, the Hawks now sit at a 6-17 record on the year. See below for the comprehensive results from each match. 

Match one v. LaGrange

1. Morgan Suggs and Kinsley Martin were defeated by Julia Damico and Alex Krabs 21-19 and 21-14
2. Molly Wilson and Carryne Chancey defeated Bella Zeutkovich and Kaitlyn Smith 21-18 and 21-13
3. Destin Roberts and Jessie Eunice defeated Akajah Burton and Jasmine Gross in three sets, dropping the first 21-15 before winning the next two 21-14 and 15-13
4. Brielle Smith and Cheyenne Ashworth were defeated by Kaitlyn Gilchrist and Danica Durham 21-13 and 21-10
5. Mileah Prince and Jenna Dupee defeated Emerson Melvin and Riley Curtis in three sets, dropping the first 21-15 before wnning the next two 21-10 and 15-9

Match two v. Mobile

1. Morgan Suggs and Kinsley Martin were defeated by Emma Hampton and Gabby Sherfield 21-15 and 21-19
2. Molly Wilson and Carryne Chancey were defeated by Jaci Drinnon and Rachel Dunaway 21-10 and 21-13
3. Brielle Smith and Cheyenne Ashworth were defeated by Peyton Frazer and Kaylin Johnson in three sets, winning the firsr 21-13 before losing the next two 21-18 and 15-9
4. Destin Roberts and Jessie Eunice were defeated by Emma McPherson and Rylee Warrenn 23-21 and 21-12
5. Jenna Dupee and Mileah Prince were defeated by Sophie Dorris and Bella DiDonna in three sets, winning the first 21-18 before losing the next two 21-16 and 15-8

The Hawks will look to keep rolling on Friday, March 20th at Berry College with matches against the Vikings and Lynchburg. Matches are set for 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM CT.
