Hawks Down Concordia, Fall To Mary-Hardin Baylor

BELTON, Texas- Traveling to the Longhorn State for a series of Spring Break Matches, Huntingdon Beach Volleyball kicked things off with a 1-2 record on their opening day, dropping a pair of matches to Mary-Hardin Baylor 5-0 and 4-1 respectively before securing a 4-1 win over Concordia. Match one v. UMHB

  1. Morgan Suggs and Kinsley Martin were defeated by Shelbee Adkins and Julianna Green 22-20 and 21-13
  2. Carryne Chancey and Cheyenne Ashworth were defeated by Faith Clark and Jacie Perkins 21-6 in each set
  3. Molly Wilson and Destin Roberts were defeated by Saige de la Fuente and Kendall Harrington 21-5 and 21-6
  4. Brielle Smith and Jessie Eunice were defeated by Heidi Farrar and Natasha Thoms 21-10 and 21-9
  5. Mileah Prince and Jenna Dupee were defeated by Taylor Morrow and Natalie Hughes 21-17 and 21-13
  6. Hannah Rutherford and Gracie Wallace were defeated by Taylor Morrow and Blakely Bleeker 21-12 and 21-18

Match two v. Concordia

  1. Morgan Suggs and Kinsley Martin were defeated by Brooklynne Fitzgerald and Emma Rosier 21-13 and 21-9
  2. Destin Roberts and Molly Wilson defeated Kennedy Carter and Jade Romero 21-17 and 21-11
  3. Cheyenne Ashworth and Carryne Chancey defeated Hailey Dyer and Cylie-Ann Wong 21-13 and 21-9
  4. Brielle Smith and Jessie Eunice defeated Summer Howard and Olivia Vu
  5. Jenna Dupee and Mileah Prince defeated Gaby Garcia and Aniyah Tompkins 21-15 and 21-10
  6. Hannah Rutherford and Gracie Wallace split with Avery Hedgpeth and Marley Butler 21-17 and 16-21

Match Three v. UMHB

The Hawks will return to action on March 27th for a tournament at East Texas Baptist. First match is set for 8:00 AM CT against Howard Payne.
