Beach Volleyball Splits With TAMU-Texarkana And Howard Payne

MARSHALL, Texas- Closing out the 2026 ETBU Tiger Invite with a pair of early matches this morning, Huntingdon Beach Volleyball fell 4-1 in the opener to TAMU-Texarkana before following with a 3-2 victory over Howard Payne. See below for the comprehensive results of each match. 

Match one v. TAMU Texarkana

1. Morgan Suggs and Kinsley Martin were defeated by Paulina Dobreva and Mia Mata in three sets, 21-17, 17-21, and 15-17
2. Molly Wilson and Destin Roberts were defeated by Leanne Blue and Jaxie Tillman in three sets, 18-21, 21-16, 15-13
3. Cheyenne Ashworth and Carryne Chancey were defeated by Lauren Herz and Bella Marvin in three sets, 15-21, 21-18, and 9-15
4. Jessie Eunice and Brielle Smith were defeated by Zoe Martinez and Flor Lazo in three sets, 21-11, 15-21, 8-15
5. Gracie Wallace and Mileah Prince defeated Gabi Garcia and Riley Mangan 21-19 and 21-11

Match two v. Howard Payne

1. Morgan Suggs and Kinsley Martin were defeated by Emilee Casey and Sam Torres in three sets, 13-21, 21-15, 13-15
2. Destin Roberts and Molly Wilson defeated Addi Rodden and Bailey Schievelben 21-17 in each set
3. Carryne Chancey and Cheyenne Ashworth defeated Taza Bennett and Ashlyn Kelly 21-16 and 21-18
4. Jessie Eunice and Brielle Smith defeated Abby Henderson and Sydnie Mullins 21-17 in each set
5. Mileah Prince and Gracie Wallace were defeated by Halie Coon and Ashley Quizon 23-21 and 21-17
