Davidson Brings Home Rookie Of The Week Honors

ATLANTA, Ga.- The Collegiate Conference of the South has released their weekly baseball award winners following the third week of competition.

Huntingdon's freshman outfielder Jay Davidson has been recognized as the conference's Rookie of the Week for the first time in his career.

Davidson made an impact at the plate, batting .438 (7-for-16) while reaching base at a .500 clip. He contributed three RBIs and scored three runs, helping lead the Hawks' offense throughout the week as they went 4-0 against the likes of Oglethorpe, Vermont State-Castleton, and Rhodes.

Davidson and the Hawks return to action tomorrow, March 4th, at home against Eastern Mennonite University. First pitch is set for 4:00 PM CT.
