DIII Week Student Spotlight- John David Hall

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Taking part in national DIII week, we will be spotlighting seven different Huntingdon student-athletes in recognition of their commitments both on and off of the field. The first athlete featured in 2025 is John David, "JD", Hall.

Coming to Huntingdon from Arab, Alabama, JD is a sophomore Center on the Hawks offensive line who is a self-described "major fan" of the Dining Hall's Taco Tuesday tradition. While he spends most of his Saturday's in the Fall as Huntingdon's starting center on the gridiron, Hall also finds himself deeply rooted within the life of the college year-round, serving both as a Resident Assistant and a senator in the Student Government association.

Thriving on personal relationships, the interconnected feeling that Huntingdon provided from the minute he stepped onto campus appealed to him, sharing that "I felt like I was a part of a family. Huntingdon is a special place with many special people, and I am very lucky to be a part of this great institution".

Hall also shared that, while holding many memories throughout his two years as a student-athlete at a Division III institution near, his favorite comes from his freshman football season, when the Huntingdon Football team claimed the Wesley Cup in what proved to be the final contest between the Hawks and Birmingham-Southern College.

Hall and the rest of Huntingdon's football team eagerly await their 2025 Fall season. Stay tuned for news to come of their upcoming schedule and opponents.
