Huntingdon’s Madison named second-team West Division
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon junior Damien Madison was recognized by the USA South Athletic Conference with the release of the men's basketball All-Conference awards.
Madison was named second-team West Division. This is the second straight season Madison has received recognition from the USA South. Madison was named second-team All-Conference as a sophomore.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the shortening of the season, the USA South is limiting All-Conference honors to first- and second-team All-Division recognition this season.
Madison played in nine of the Hawks' 14 games this season and averaged 19.6 points per game to rank third in the conference in scoring per game. He was 17-for-50 from 3-point range and shot 40.8 percent from the field.
Madison scored in double digits in all but one game this season and scored a season-high 32 points twice.
Dylan Bohling was named to the All-Sportsmanship team for the men and Alina Shoemake was named to the All-Sportsmanship team for the Huntingdon women.
