Jeremy Autin Named Alabama Power Huntingdon Student Athlete Of The Week
MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Coming off of the Christmas Break with things in full swing for the Spring 2026 semester, Jeremy Autin has been announced as the first Alabama Power Huntingdon Student Athlete of the Week this calendar year.
Autin, a senior from Mandeville, Louisiana, has been a steady producer for the Hawks Basketball team throughout his four years, seeing the court in 90 contests while recording 17 starts for his career. Now in his final season at Huntingdon, not only is he averaging a career high in points per game, but he's also strongly preparing for life after college.
Majoring in exercise science- Pre-Physical Therapy, Jeremy boasts a 3.9 GPA. That, combined with an exemplary record of campus involvement, has put him into a prime position for graduate school acceptances. "I have applied and been accepted to LSU Health, Franscian University, and St. Augustine University for PT School, with the ultimate goal being to attend LSU," shared Autin. "I'm very grateful for all of the opportunities that Huntingdon College has given me both on and off the court. I am also fortunate to have a support system that has helped me every step of the way. I'm Looking forward to finishing my time at Huntingdon strong and beginning this next chapter at one of these prestigious programs."
Serving as a senior leader for Huntingdon's Basketball Program, Jeremy has played a crucial role in the Hawks 11-7 overall record and 4-1 CCS record that currently places Huntingdon second in the standings. He and the Hawks will look to continue their success on January 31st, as they travel to face off with Covenant College.
