Seven Hawks named All-America Scholars by GCAA

NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America released its Second Wave Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars on Tuesday.

In the first season in which sophomores are eligible for the award, seven Hawks were named All-America Scholars. Cody Argade, Connor Bruce, Ben Harris, Walker Hinds, Drew Mathers, Cam Page and Carson Whitton were among 81 Division III golfers to earn the recognition.

A total of 1,018 golfers were honored in NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA and the NJCAA.

To be eligible for Division III All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically, participated in at least 40 percent of his team's competitive rounds and have a stroke-average under 79 and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.
