Men's Golf Proclaims Victory At The Jekyll Island Collegiate
JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.- Entering the third and final round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate in third place, #11 Huntingdon Men's Golf pieced together their best round of the tournament to walk away champions, defeating all of the top-10 teams ranked ahead of them in doing so.
As a team, the Hawks finished the third round 10 strokes under par with a score of 278. For the tournament, they were 9 strokes under par for an 855 total.
Jack Burr finished the tournament in third place overall, piecing together a 7-under par 65 to climb 8 spots on the leaderboard. Jack Hundley and Zackery Coker also had exceptional showings, placing within the top 20 individuals themselves.
