Burr Brings Home CCS Golfer Of The Week

ATLANTA, Ga.- For the second time this Spring, the Collegiate Conference of the South(CCS) has recognized Huntingdon's Jack Burr as the conference Golfer of the Week.

Burr delivered a stellar performance at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, finishing third out of 150 competitors in a highly competitive field. The junior posted rounds of even-par 72, one-under 71, and a phenomenal seven-under 65 to card a three-round total of 208 (-8). His final round 65 propelled him eight spots ahead into the top three on the individual leaderboard. Burr's standout performance helped lead the Hawks to a dominant team victory, as Huntingdon finished the tournament nine strokes under par with a total score of 855.

Burr and the Hawks look to keep rolling on Monday, April 7th, hosting the Capitol City Invitational at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Prattville, Alabama.
