Men's Golf In Second After Opening Round Of CCS Championship

DALTON, Ga.- Through the first 18 holes at the 2025 Collegiate Conference of the South Championship, #9 Huntingdon Men's Golf finds themselves in second place on the leaderboard, trailing Piedmont University. 

The Hawks got things going in round one with a team score of 298, 10 strokes over par. The Lions lead by just two strokes, putting together an eight-under 296 for the first round. In spite of being second on the leaderboard, Huntingdon currently has four Hawks placed inside the top 15 individuals, as Jack Hundley and Stephen Baker currently sit in a tie for third place overall with Cole Humphrey and Jack Burr tying for 11th.
