Burr Repeats As Conference Golfer Of The Year, Five Hawks Named All-Conference

ATLANTA, Ga. (May 5, 2025) – The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its 2025 Men's Golf All-Conference awards. Huntingdon's Jack Burr repeated as the CCS Golfer of the Year after a dominant spring that saw him rise to No. 8 nationally, while LaGrange's CJ Kilkelly was selected as Rookie of the Year following a strong freshman campaign.

Piedmont's Dustin Meadows was voted Coach of the Year honors by his peers after leading the Lions to back-to-back conference titles.

Golfer of the Year | Jack Burr, Huntingdon

Huntingdon's Jack Burr was named the 2025 CCS Men's Golfer of the Year for the second consecutive season following another dominant campaign. Burr entered the postseason ranked No. 8 nationally and No. 7 in the NCAA Division III Region IV. He posted an impressive scoring average of 70.5 across 15 rounds this season and finished inside the top three at two premier tournaments—the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational and the Savannah Invitational. Burr capped off his season with a solid seventh-place finish at the CCS Championship, helping the Hawks push Piedmont to a playoff. Burr's consistency and elite-level play were also recognized throughout the year, as he garnered CCS Golfer of the Week honors on three separate occasions.

Rookie of the Year | CJ Kilkelly, LaGrange

LaGrange's CJ Kilkelly earned CCS Rookie of the Year after a promising freshman season in which he played 16 competitive rounds and finished with a 77.6 scoring average. Kilkelly placed 16th overall at the CCS Championship, helping the Panthers secure a fourth-place team finish. He was named CCS Rookie of the Week once this season after posting rounds of 72 (E) and 80 (+8) at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational. Kilkelly becomes just the second LaGrange golfer to claim the league's top rookie honor.

Coach of the Year | Dustin Meadows, Piedmont

Piedmont head coach Dustin Meadows was voted the CCS Coach of the Year after guiding the Lions to a thrilling title defense. In just his second season at the helm, Meadows led Piedmont to wire-to-wire control of the leaderboard, building a nine-shot lead entering the final round. Despite facing heavy pressure from a surging Huntingdon team and trailing late in the round, the Lions rallied to force a playoff and ultimately secured the championship in extra holes. Under Meadows' leadership, Piedmont has now won back-to-back CCS titles.
