Hawks Tied For Fifth Through Day One At NCAA Championships

PENFIELD, New York- After finishing as the Collegiate Conference of the South runner-up and earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship, Huntingdon Men's Golf opened up things up today at the Midvale Country Club in New York.

Through the first 18 holes, the Hawks compiled a nine strokes over-par score of 297, good enough to tie with both Trinity and Kenyon for fifth place out of 43 teams. Junior all-conference and all-region performer Stephen Baker. has led the Hawks thus far,  shooting an even-par 72 to finish the round in 10th place individually.
