Burr Brings Home Second CCS Golfer Of The Week Award

ATLANTA, Ga.- After leading the Hawks to their third straight tournament victory, Jack Burr has been recognized as the CCS Golfer of the Week.

The Milton, Georgia native secured this week's honor after turning in an outstanding performance at the Savannah Invitational (March 2–3), helping lead Huntingdon to its third tournament victory of the season. Burr posted three under-par rounds to finish near the top of the leaderboard, carding rounds of 70 (-2), 69 (-3), and 67 (-5) to finish with a three-round total of 206 (-10), placing second individually in the field. His consistent play throughout the tournament anchored the Hawks as they secured their third team title.

Burr and the Hawks return to action on March 9th at the Tiger Invitational hosted by Hampden-Sydney at the Forest Creek Golf Course located in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
