McMonigle Brings Home Second Team All-USA South Honors
The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its 2026 All-Conference awards for men's lacrosse.
Huntingdon saw two athletes represented on the list, as Jaxon McMonigle was named second team all-conference and Kelcey Marston was recognized on the all-sportsmanship team.
McMonigle, a sophomore from Woodville, Alabama, served as the Hawks offensive catalyst all season long. The midfielder/attacker totaled 56 goals and 9 assists on the year for 65 individual points. Heading into conference tournament play, Jaxon ranks 3rd in the league in goals per game, 8th in points per game, and 5th in shots per game. His consistent offensive production proved vital to a Huntingdon attack that finished 6th in points per game.
As for Marston, the Tallahass, Florida native's selection on the all-sportsmanship team is the first of his four-year career wearing the scarlet and grey. His leadership, both on and off the field, proved crucial to the Hawks success in the regular season.
