Trent Wineberg Named CCS Rookie Of The Week

ATLANTA, Ga.- Following the first week of competition around the league, the Collegiate Conference of the South has unveiled their Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week. 

Huntingdon's Freshman Goalkeeper, Trent Wineberg, has been recognized as the conference's first Rookie of the Week of the season. 

Wineberg made a memorable collegiate debut, recording 10 saves against Warren Wilson. Wineberg's highlight moment came late in the second half with the score tied at 3-3, when he denied a penalty kick and the ensuing rebound to keep the Hawks in contention.

Trent and the Hawks look to bounce back from their loss at Oglethorpe this upcoming Friday, September 5th, as they play host to Centenary College. Gametime is set for 2:00 PM CT.
