Gilroy's Reign Continues As CCS Track Athlete Of The Week

ATLANTA, Ga.- Bringing home the award for the third straight week, Huntingdon's Rory Gilroy has been recognized as the Collegiate Conference of the South Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. 

Gilroy delivered yet anotherstrong all-around performance at the Emory Spring Break Classic, competing across four events. Gilroy advanced through a competitive 110m hurdles field, posting a 14.66 and finishing second overall in the finals. He also added a ninth-place finish in the 400m hurdles (55.16) and contributed to Huntingdon's relay efforts, placing eighth in the 4x100m (43.58) and ninth in the 4x400m (3:28.39).

Rory and the Hawks will look to keep rolling as they prepare for the Troy Invite, which is set to begin on April 3rd.
