Holman Named CCS Softball Player Of The Week
ATLANTA, Ga.- The Collegiate Conference of the South has released their weekly softball awards following the third week of competition, with Huntingdon Shortstop Jordan Holman receiving her first player of the week award this season.
Holman delivered an outstanding performance at the plate during Huntingdon's 4-2 week at the NFCA Leadoff Classic. The senior shortstop batted .600 (12-for-20) with an impressive 1.500 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage. She recorded 10 runs, 13 RBI, three doubles, and five home runs to power the Hawks' offense to four wins, including a victory over #10 Trine.
Holman looks to lead the Hawks as they square off with Wartburg in a double-header on March 5th. Games are scheduled for 3:00 and 5:00 PM CT.
