Four Hawks Bring Home NFCA All-Region Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 383 student-athletes from 170 schools who comprise the 2025 NFCA Division III All-Region teams.

Region IV's Rowan, which headed into this week's NCAA tournament ranked fourth in the GoRout/NFCA Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll, placed a division-best and maximum eight players on its region list, with six on the first team and the other two on the second team. Meanwhile, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Region II and fifth-ranked Trine in Region VII tied for second-most, with seven All-Region selections apiece.

Seven schools — Husson and Wesleyan in Region I, Alfred in Region II, Messiah, No. 8 Salisbury and No. 18 Moravian in Region V, and sixth-ranked Linfield in Region X — had six players chosen. Another seven — Tufts (Region I), The College of New Jersey (Region IV), No. 2 Christopher Newport and No. 3 Virginia Wesleyan (both Region VI), Central (Region IX), and top-ranked East Texas Baptist and No. 9 Texas Lutheran (both Region X) — scored five honorees each.

Eight schools had four players recognized, while 29 had three, 49 got two, and 67 had one.

Huntingdon College belongs to the conglomerate of school's who saw four student-athletes bring home all-region recognition. Senior Catcher Miranda Treadway was named to the Region VI First-Team All-Region, with Allie Roberts, Jordan Holman, and Maddie Grace Hubbard each being tabbed as second team all-region performers.

Treadway's first-team recognition comes off the heels of her best season at the plate throughout her Huntingdon career, batting at an average of .469 while recording 68 hits, 54 RBI's, and 12 home runs. She was named to the Collegiate Conference of the South All-Conference First Team as well at the conclusion of the regular season.

The Collegiate Conference of the South Pitcher of the Year Allie Roberts was Huntingdon's next all-region honoree. The Auburn, Alabama native finished the season with a 21-1 record in the circle, pitching 9 complete games. She threw 118 strikeouts on the year, ending her second season with an ERA of 1.56.

Jordan Holman's selection to the region's second team all-conference serves as her second time receiving the honor in as many seasons. The senior shortstop from Reading, Pennsylvania finished the 2025 season with a .401 batting average, hitting 10 home runs en route to 57 RBI's. On the other side of the plate,  her fielding percentage of .945 helped anchor the Hawks defensive efforts all season long. As a result, Holman also secured her second first team all-CCS nod in back-to-back years.

Huntingdon's fourth and final all-region selection belongs to none other than third baseman, Maddie Grace Hubbard. Picking up the first all-region title in her career as a Hawk, Hubbard finished the season with a batting average of .479, scoring 52 runs and stealing 12 bases as Huntingdon's leadoff batter.

The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.

If they were not already voted to an All-Region squad, conference Players and Pitchers of the Year from member institutions are added to the third team in their region, so long as they are nominated by their member head coach and receive votes.

All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 28 online and on-site at the NCAA Division III Finals banquet in Bloomington, Ill.
