This week is NCAA Division III Week and member institutions across the country are celebrating the 10th-year event.

Division III Week, which runs from Monday through Sunday, is intended to recognize the academic and athletic accomplishments as well as the campus leadership and community service efforts of Division III student-athletes.

What made you feel like Huntingdon was the right place for you? "I felt Huntingdon was the right place because of the family atmosphere, the many networking opportunities and the amazing education. Also, attending Huntingdon allowed me to further my military career while playing basketball."

As a student-athlete, what is your impression of Division III now compared to your first season? "My impression of Division III now is that it has an amazing atmosphere and if I had to do it all over again, I would choose Huntingdon again. As a student-athlete, we are pushed to empty the tank on the court and in the classroom, which I think has helped make me a better person from my freshman year until now."

What advice would you give our current underclassmen and incoming recruits to better prepare them for the next few years?  "I would tell them to not be afraid to network and meet new people. Also, I would say to always empty the tank."

How has your experience at Huntingdon prepared you for life after college? "My experience at Huntingdon has allowed me to meet new people and experience different cultures and perspectives. I think that has helped prepare me for the career I have chosen to pursue after college."
