Gorden Brings Home USA South Co-Golfer Of The Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The USA South Athletic Conference has released their first women's golf weekly awards of the 2025 Spring season.

Huntingdon's Yvette Gorden has been selected as the league's co-golfer of the week, sharing the award with Piedmont's Erin Donovan. The Pike Road, Alabama sophomore placed tied for tenth out of 105 golfers at the South Georgia Invitational last week by shooting a 11-over par 155. In the two-round event, Gorden opened with a three-over par 75 and finished with an eight-over par 80. 

Gorden and the Hawks are coming off of a 5th place finish at the South Georgia Invitational. Huntingdon returns to action on Friday, March 21st, kicking off the Jekyll Island Collegiate.
