Hawks Finish 9th At The Jekyll Island Collegiate
ST SIMONS, Ga.- With the third round bringing a close to the annual Jekyll Island Collegiate, Huntingdon Women's Golf has walked away with a 9th place finish overall.
Finishing with a team score of 316, 28 strokes over par for the third round, the Hawks conclude the tournament 81 strokes over par at a total of 945. Emory University walked away with a one stroke victory over Carnegie-Mellon, finishing the tournament 18 strokes over par for a team score of 882.
Leading the Hawks through all three rounds, Yvette Gorden finished in a tie for 20th place overall with a 6-over par 78 in the third round. Briana Willis also finished today with a score of 78, moving 13 spots up the leaderboard. See below for Huntingdon's round three results.
