Hawks Tie For Seventh At The Max And Susan Stith Invitational
RICHMOND, Va.- Following the second round of action from The Dominion Club in Richmond, Huntingdon Women's Golf maintained their position on the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 7th place with Piedmont University.
The Hawks followed up on their 27-over par first round with a second round team score of 319, four strokes higher than the first round. Carnegie Mellon walked away as the tournament champions, closing out the tournament with a 26-over par second round score of 314.
Yvette Gorden closed the tournament as the 7th place finisher, shooting six strokes over par for a second round score of 78. Caroline Culbertson did the same, elevating her from 54th overall in the tournament to 40th. Briana Willis fell three spots on the leaderboard with a nine-over par 81 for round two, but still placed inside the top 30. See below for Huntingdon's comprehensive round two scores.
