Gorden Still Leads As Huntingdon Remains In First At The USA South Championship

SPARTANBURG, South Carolina- Following up on their eight-over par, first place performance yesterday at the Carolina Country Club, Huntingdon Women's Golf further built upon their lead in the second round of competition.

Compiling a sixteen-over par team score of 304 for round two, the Hawks now hold a commanding 26 stroke lead over second place Piedmont University. Additionally, sophomore Yvette Gorden maintained her position atop the individual leaderboard, finishing the day with a one-over par score of 73. Briana Willis climbed to third place overall with a score of 74, with Caroline Culbertson and Ava Catherine Banks rounding out the top 10. See below for Huntingdon's full round two scores.
