Culbertson And Willis Named WGCA Scholar All-Americans
CORAL SPRINGS, Florida– The 2024-25 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced today with 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs recognized with this prestigious honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players. To be selected, a student-athlete must:
- Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
- Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
- Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
After being recognized as USA South Academic All-Conference performers earlier this summer, Caroline Culbertson and Briana Willis each find themselves representing Huntingdon Women's Golf on a national level. Culbertson, a 2025 Huntingdon graduate, finished the 2024-2025 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.76 as she will enroll in the Master's of Education in School Counseling at Augusta University in Georgia. Willis' selection comes following her junior year, where she ended the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.95 as she gears up for her final season as a Hawk.
