Women's Golf In Sixth Through Round 1 Of The Transylvania Kickoff Classic

LEXINGTON, Ky.- Traveling to Lexington for their first tournament of the season, #20 ranked Huntingdon Women's Golf currently finds themselves sixth in a field of 12 teams.

Finishing the round with a comprehensive score of 319, 27 strokes over par, the Hawks trail first place Christopher Newport University by 21 strokes. Leading the Hawks is 2025 All-American Yvette Gorden, who sits as the third placed individual, finishing the opening round with a score of 72, one stroke under par.
