Women's Golf Tied For 5th At Kingsmill
WILLIAMSBURG, Va.- Returning to action for the first time since their showing at the MCC Women's Intercollegiate, #22 Huntingdon Women's Golf opened up the Historic Triangle Invitational with a 22 stroke over-par first round, putting the Hawks in a tie for 5th place with Washington and Lee.
In the field of 14 teams and 79 total players, Huntingdon started strong, finishing the first round just 11 strokes behind the first place Emory University Eagles. Junior Mary Charles Davis currently leads for the Hawks, rounding out the day in a tie for 2nd place over all with a one-under par score of 71 for round 1.
