Hawks Finish 9th At The Historic Triangle Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va.- With today's second and final round at the Kingsmill Resort- River Course bringing the Historic Triangle Invitational to a close, #22 Huntingdon Women's Golf fell four spots from their 5th place position yesterday, finishing 9th in the field of 14 of Division III's top-ranked programs. 

Finishing round two with an overall team score of 315, 27 strokes over par, the Hawks finished 37 strokes behind the tournament champions, the Emory University Eagles. Yvette Gorden led Huntingdon through the second round, climbing up the leaderboards with a three-over par round of 75 to tie Mary Charles Davis for the 13th placed individual spot.
