Gorden Ties For Fifth, Hawks Finish Sixth At The Savannah Invitational
SAVANNAH, Ga.- Maintaining their position as the 6th place team in a field of 19, #24 Huntingdon Women's Golf remained solid to close things out at the Savannah Invitational hosted by Berry College.
Rounding things out with today's second round, the Hawks ended things with an 11 stroke over par 303. #2 Carnegie Mellon University walked away with a resounding tournament victory, finishing 24 strokes under par and 28 strokes ahead of second place Emory.
Earning a spot on the all-tournament team was junior Yvette Gorden. The Pike Road, Alabama native kept her hot hand from a day ago, doubling up with another 71(-2) round to tie for the 5th place individual spot. See below for the Hawks comprehensive round two scores.
