Hawks Wrap Up At The Jekyll Island Collegiate

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.- Closing out the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational this afternoon, Huntingdon Women's Golf has placed 22nd in the field of 24 teams.

Shooting 43 strokes over par for a 331 third round, the Hawks rounded things out three strokes behind conference rival Methodist, who finished 21st. NYU claimed the title of tournament champion, defeating second place Emory by four strokes to walk away victorius. Huntingdon was led by a 27th place finish from Yvette Gorden, who ended the tournament with a five-over par third round to climb 6 spots on the leaderboard.
