Hawks Take Fifth At The Stith Invitational

RICHMOND, Va.- Climbing one spot on the leaderboard following today's third and final round at the Max and Susan Stith Invitational, #24 Huntingdon Women's Golf has finished 5th in the field of 16 teams at The Dominion Club in Richmond. 

Tying their score from yesterday's second round, the Hawks posted an 18-over par 306 to close things out and overtake Denison for the top-five team finish. Mary Charles Davis followed up on her excellent day yesterday with another stellar showing today, earning a place on the all-tournament team with a two-over par 74, ending the tournament three strokes over par and two strokes out of a tie for 1st place. Yvette Gorden saw a top-10 finish as well with senior Briana Willis just outside in 16th.  See below for Huntingdon's comprehensive third round scores.

The next time the Hawks take the course will be on April 20th as they kick off the USA South Championship hosted in Sanford, North Carolina and look to repeat their conference title.
