Gorden And Davis Make All-Tournament Team, Hawks Finish As USA South Runner-Up

SANFORD, NC.- With today's third round bringing play to a close at the 2026 USA South Women's Golf Championships, Huntingdon Women's Golf has finished as the conference tournament's runner-up.

In the six seasons where the USA South Women's Golf Championship has been held, this is Huntingdon's 5th time finishing as runner-up. The lone exception comes from last season, where the Hawks claimed the conference title.

Closing things out with a 34-over par 322 for the third round, the Hawks finished 9 strokes behind the tournament champions, Piedmont. Huntingdon was represented by two Hawks on the all-tournament team, as juniors Yvette Gorden and Mary Charles Davis finished 2nd and 4th overall respectively overall to lead the charge. Briana Willis finished just outside the all-tournament team mark with a sixth place finish on the leaderboards. See below for Huntingdon's round three scores.
