Hawks Draw With Centenary

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- In their second home game in as many days, Huntingdon women's soccer(2-3-1 overall) battled throughout the duration of the match, but ultimately finished in a 3-3 draw with the Ladies of Centenary College(0-2-1 overall).

Just one minute later, Shea Eichelberger found Keabetsoe Walker streaking down the field, with Walker making a move to get past the keeper to even the score at 2 going into the halftime break.

To start the second half, the Hawks drew blood first, with Shaylinn McFarland scoring her second goal of the afternoon to give Huntingdon a 3-2 advantage with 30 minutes to go. Centenary responded at the 73:02 mark with the game-tying goal, bringing the score to 3-3. As the rest of the game was played out, both teams found attempts on goal, but the keepers held their own, as Caroline Masker for the Hawks recorded 4 saves on Centenary's 7 attempts while the Ladies' keeper saved 8 of Huntingdon's 11 attempts.
