LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga.- In their first CCS matchup of the season, Huntingdon women's soccer(2-4-1 overall, 0-1 CCS) fell to the Scots of Covenant College(5-2 overall, 1-0 CCS) 1-0.
How it happened
The Scots struck early to score the only goal needed Saturday afternoon, sneaking one past Huntingdon keeper Caroline Masker at the eleven and a half minute mark to gain the 1-0 advantage.
As the rest of the game wore on, Huntingdon found attempts at the goal, with Shaylinn McFarland, Angelina Mazza, and Shea Eichelberger all taking shots, but none of them found their way past the Covenant keeper, giving the Hawks their first loss in CCS play.
The Hawks return to action on September 27th, traveling to take on Toccoa Falls. Gametime is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
