Track And Field Takes On The Montevallo Falcon Classic

MONTEVALLO, Ala.- With the threat of inclement weather condensing the originally scheduled two-day meet into one, Huntingdon Track and Field embarked on the short trip to Montevallo to compete in the Falcon Classic.

On the day, The Hawks saw a flurry of season bests and personal records set for both the men's and women's teams. Jimmy Woods followed up on his excellent performance in the 100m at the UWA Invitational with a season best this afternoon, crossing the finish line in 11.13 seconds. In the 110m Hurdles, both Rory Gilroy and Mya Farmer set their best times on the season, with Farmer's also serving as a personal record. Gavin McAbee started the day with a season best time in the 200m before setting his PR in the 400m at 51.84 seconds shortly after. Nariah Travis and Aleah Vess each saw 400m PR's as well, with Travis also setting a PR in the 200m
