Morgan Suggs Tabbed CCS Rookie Of The Week

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- For the first time this season, Huntingdon volleyball's Morgan Suggs has been named the Rookie of the Week for the Collegiate Conference of the South.

Suggs made an immediate impact for Huntingdon, racking up 49 kills and 70 digs over five matches. In the Hawks' wins against MUW and Centenary (LA), Suggs shone brightest. She tallied 12 kills and 25 digs in the win over MUW, hitting .345 and averaging 8.3 digs per set. Suggs' performance helped Huntingdon to a solid 2-3 record this past week.

Suggs and the Hawks are set to take on MUW in Columbus tomorrow, September 17th. Gametime is scheduled for 7:00 PM CT.
