Women's Wrestling Finishes 3-2 At The Red Lady Duals

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Opening the 2026 calendar year by hosting their annual Red Lady Duals at the Garrett Coliseum located in Montgomery, Huntingdon Women's Wrestling put together an exemplary performance to finish the day with a 3-2 record in their five matches. Of their three team victories, two of them were over SLIAC opponents(Schreiner and McMurry).

Standing out among the Hawks performances today was that of Arie Bacon's. The sophomore from Evans, Georgia finished the day with a perfect 5-0 record, pinning four of her opponents in completing her sweep on the day. Huntingdon opened things with a 25-18 loss against Randolph, but answered in a big way with a 23-19 win over Schreiner and a 33-11 win against McMurry. Their 23-21 win over Montreat served as their third in a row on the day before Mount Olive's 38-11 victory over the Hawks brought the day to a close.
