Parets Awarded SLIAC Women's Wrestler Of The Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo.- After claiming the title of tournament champion in the 117lb weight class at the Spartan Mat Classic yesterday, Huntingdon Women's Wrestling's Chloe Parets has been recognized as the SLIAC Women's Wrestler of the Week. 

Parets, a sophomore from Miami, Florida and a graduate of Florida Christian School, finished the tournament with an unblemished 5-0 record, claiming two of her victories by fall, with a third coming via tech fall. In order to claim the top spot, Parets had to defeat the #5 ranked wrestler in Region 4, taking down her opponent from Manchester. 

Parets and the Hawks will look to build on their immensely successful tournament yesterday this Saturday, as they travel to Emmanuel to compete in the Georgia Women's Open.
