Four Hawks Secure Regional Rankings Ahead Of SLIAC Championship

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- With Huntingdon Wrestling's first SLIAC Conference Championship set to take place this upcoming weekend at Eureka College, four Hawks find themselves among the region's best. 

Per the NWCA Region 3 rankings, Jordan Epstein(103 lb), Shelby Fugate(110 lb), Arie Bacon(145 lb), and Aniyah Griffin(180 lb) each are ranked among the top five in the region within their respective weight class. Boasting 4 regionally ranked wrestlers, Huntingdon enters the SLIAC Championship tomorrow with the most of any team in the SLIAC, with Schreiner serving as the only other team with ranked wrestlers in their lineup.

Traveling to Eureka on February 13th for their inaugural showing at the SLIAC conference championships, the Hawks have their eyes set on claiming the first conference title in program history.
