Hawks Roll Past LaGrange At Home In USA South Action

The Hawks kept the pressure on in the second quarter, answering an early LaGrange goal with three straight scores. Kelcey Marston notched a man-up goal, while Nico Palmieri and Dial added to the tally to extend the lead to 8-2. Marston capped the half with another goal in the final minute, sending Huntingdon into the break with a 9-3 advantage.

Huntingdon put the game out of reach in the third quarter, outscoring LaGrange 4-0. Devin Reeves and Palmieri each found the back of the net, while Jacob Green added a defensive goal. Angst's second of the day pushed the lead to 13-3 heading into the final period.

In the fourth, the Hawks continued to pour it on. Dial and Reeves each scored again, and Huntingdon closed the scoring with back-to-back goals from Angst and Mason Honeycutt to seal the 17-5 win.

Dial and Angst led the way with three goals apiece, while Marston filled the stat sheet with two goals and four assists. Reeves added two goals, and Palmieri chipped in two as well. Knost and McMonigle each contributed multiple assists as Huntingdon totaled eight helpers on the day.

Defensively, the Hawks were just as impressive, forcing 29 turnovers while committing only 12 and winning the ground ball battle 48-29. In goal, Nathan Brezovec earned the win with six saves in the first half, while Ethan Schellenberger added six saves over the final 30 minutes.
