Position: Catcher
Athletic accomplishments: Odom batted .538 (7-for-13) with two home runs, nine RBIs and three runs in a 3-game series with Maryville. Odom was 3-for-6 with two RBIs and a run in a 13-7 win on Friday and 3-for-4 with two home runs, four RBIs and two runs in a 12-3 win on Saturday. He added three RBIs in an 11-10 loss in the final game of the series.
Goals after Huntingdon: Odom plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist. An injury in high school, which required surgery and rehab, introduced Odom to the field and sparked his interest.
What has made the Huntingdon experience special to you? “Coming from a 6A school, the small-campus atmosphere was new to me. But it introduced me to a close-knit group of guys who had the same interests I have. The guys on this team are here to get our degrees and play the sport we love.”
