LAGRANGE, Ga.- Looking to avenge their loss to Piedmont, Huntingdon men's soccer(3-8-1 overall, 0-4 CCS) fell on the road to the Panthers of LaGrange(4-9 overall, 2-3 CCS) by a score of 4-1.
How it happened
Opening the game, neither offense could find any rhythm around the net, as Braden Ross anchored Huntingdon's defense with three saves while LaGrange's keeper tallied three of his own. The Panthers would strike first at the 44:31 mark to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Coming out of the halftime break, LaGrange was able to extend their lead with a goal at the 55:08 mark. Tate Reynolds snuck one past the Panther's keeper inside the final 30 minutes, but the LaGrange scored two more goals and kept the Hawks off the scoreboard to end the game with a 4-1 victory.
The Hawks look to bounce back on October 19th at home against Maryville for senior day. Gametime is scheduled for 5:00 PM CT.
